To use scroll function, you have to install the touchpad drivers, which are available from Toshiba Official Support. Click Here to download the required touchpad drivers. Select 'Touchpad' from Category and install Synaptics or Alps Drivers (Depending upon the type of touchpad you have on your system).
just reinstall the driver for it ..if it has no driver it works just with the generic one in windows and the scroll and select will not be allowed..or install a usb mouse and will be easier to work and have all features..(in case the driver is not available for the touch pad ) here is the place to look for the pad's driver .. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=380609&rpn=PS630U&modelFilter=&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768667 this is for Toshiba m-15 s405 ...I linked it cause you placed the question in this category ..If you use another model ..select it from the download list ..also select the operation system ..
