Is the source selected sending signal (radio staion broadcasting, cd playing, ipod all the way ect)
Try doing some basic troubleshooting like,
see if all sources available yield the same result (TV, Radio, CD, Ipod, Aux jack)
When you turn the volume all the way up, do you hear an audible hiss from the speakers?(or use a test tone) If so, your amp is working and the problem is, your unit is not sending any signal to it.
If possible hook up your speakers to another system to rule them out, however I doubt that is your problem.
SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Reinitialisation.....waiting...switch o/off....waiting and in 5 Minutes it starts again..but sometimes I'll be angry and I want to through it from the window.
These digital amps are very prone to blow if the speaker wires are shorted so Sony appear to have put in a protection system that mutes the amp when this happens. You have to unplug the amp for a minute till the light goes off, make sure no speaker wires are touching each other and then it should work ok. I found the same problem with one I bought 2nd hand.
Sounds as if the memory card may be corrupted. In order to remove the write protect, make sure you have downloaded and saved all of the images from the memory card to your computer and then having the card in the camera you will need to run the format option and this will permanently remove the write protect as well as all of the images from the card.
The card should be able to be used again after the write protect is removed.
