I am missing a part. where can I get one?

My Samsung SyncMaster 910 MP 19 inch LCD monitor needs an adapter in order to connect a regular television cable to receive a televison signal.

Can you tell me where I can acquire the adapter? It is pictured on page 19 of the manual.

Visit www.samsungparts.com
At the search by dialog box at the top right, type SYNCM910MP
You should find 16 parts for your LCD monitor.
Click on 3705-001191 which is the 2nd part listed.
The part title is called CONNECTOR-COAXIAL, MALE TO FEMALE.
Since I don't have the manual, I don't know what is on page 19.
If that is not the part, click on the part number of the part you think it is. When you find it, you can print out that part and go to a local electronic store to see if they have it. Good luck.

I see it's also available on eBay.
Hope you find it local. I'm sure if there's a local electronic part store, you'll be able to get it for under $10.00 including tax.

Monitor is loseing its picture.

Open up your monitor and open your power supply. Check for any bad capacitors. And replace them with the same or bigger number. If everything inside the power supply looks good then its probably the back light going bad.. Its probably best to buy a new one in that case.,.

See if you can pull up the menu on your monitor. If you can reset it to factory defaults.

If you still can't see the screen properly then you need to on your computer. Go into the device manager and make sure its seeing your video card properly. Look underneath display adapters and be sure its seeing something other then standard display vga.

If not then your display adapters are missing so once you install those, the computer will recognize your monitor.

sounds like your having pixel issues I would advice calling up samsung and checking there pixel policy if it is out of range they will need to replace it
