PANASONIC SA HE9 RECIEVER 5.1

Hi im not sure if i have a fault with the receiver or the subwoofer, as i only have a very low muffled sound from the sub at very high volume, thanks.

If the sub has a volume control, turn it down then turn up the volume on the amp to the very high volume you mentioned. If it still has very low muffled sound, then we know the problem is about the amp.

Have you looked at the manuals?

If the unspecified sub isn't self-amplified it won't work with this receiver.

If it IS self-amplified you still needt o set up the receiver to run a sub.

Im having trouble setting up my SA XR25 reciever. I have 2 small bose speakers with a subwoofer. how do i connect the speakers to the reciever?.

Unable to hear voices

unfortunately you cannot hook a dvd player to a receiver, the dvd player has to be hooked directly to the tv.

Replacing a Surround Sound System Receiver

the difference is the "same speaker connections"
the front and rear will connect the same but the subwoofer is amplified by the HT75 , and the HE75 does not have an internal amp for the subwoofer speaker , only a "pre output"(has to be amplified)

The speach during a movie sounds muffled

Hello,
Please download Instruction Manual of DAV-DZ260 from Sony Support and go to page 25 and select appropriate sound option.
The disc in player doesn't match with current sound selection thats why you hear muffled sound.

SUBWOOFER CONECTION

The subwoofer is the low frequency contribution to your sound. The "boom". Any brand will do...obviously, there are quality differences. Some units are powered...others not. This is probably not. Find a major store like Best Buy or Circuit City. They've been through this before. You can probably get info from Panasonic at their website.
