a card reader is a device that plugs into a usb port on your computer. Newer computers may have one built in. I doubt a card reader will change the fact that you deleted your images. I work at a camera shop and I know of only one way to retrieve deleted images, and that is to use a photo recovery program. If you have a local camera shop near by they should have the program you need and it will be less than $50 bucks

Please be noted that your camera memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

Deleting or formatting on the computer instead of the camera corrupts the card. The camera does not recognize the operating system used to delete. Stop using the computer to do that!

if you accidentally deleted them, there is no way of retrieving them. the camera doesn't have a recycle bin like windows. Sorry
