Hi, if all else fails you might have a problem with your bios. what version of bios do you have pls? this mb with bios 0304 and lower have known issues with usb, you might want to update your bios (but of course this involves some risk). their latest is 0313 available at http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2229&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21. Flashing as said earlier involves some risk and the instructions must be followed strictle. Hope this be of some help. Please let me know how things thurn up. Regards

Re:
It may be the operating system has not recognised all the ports, if you opertaing system is now ok, go to My computer>properties>hardware>device manager, and look to bottom of the list to USB Controllers.
right click on them, and Uninstall all controllers and restart pc and see if all the ports are recognised and installed automatically.
Go back to the controllers after restart and ensure there are no'!' marks or no 'X' against any controllers.

Hi, This mother board will work if we have a compatible processor like Intel Core2 Duo, Intel Pentium D, Intel Pentium 4.But the processor should be greater than 2.99Ghz if the processor is less than this then it will to work.Dual core processor means there will be two processors working The detailed specifications of the new Intel D945GCCR Motherboard are:
Form Factor:MicroATX
Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Pentium D, Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors in the LGA775 package
This motherboard appears to be very selective of the CPU it will use. in the 2.6 category the only process it shows to support is an intel 805 2.66. Check this site it should be able to clarify the issue somewhat:
No. DDR replaced the SD in RAM so SDRAM and DDR RAM are two completely different things but each ram type has its own frequency hence you get SDRAM 100(mhz) and SDRAM 133(Mhz) just like you get DDR 1 RAM at 266(mhz) and 400(mhz) and DDR 2 RAM at 533(mhz) and 800(mhz). Therefore as you can see how these things differ, but if your mboard takes SDRAM that it can take and frequency of SDRAM but you must ensure that all the frequencies of all your RAM modules in all your slots correspond otherwise you will have problems, meaning that if you decide to use 133mhz RAM then all your RAM modules that you use must be the same. Let me know how you go. thanks
