Hi, if all else fails you might have a problem with your bios. what version of bios do you have pls? this mb with bios 0304 and lower have known issues with usb, you might want to update your bios (but of course this involves some risk). their latest is 0313 available at http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2229&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21. Flashing as said earlier involves some risk and the instructions must be followed strictle. Hope this be of some help. Please let me know how things thurn up. Regards

It may be the operating system has not recognised all the ports, if you opertaing system is now ok, go to My computer>properties>hardware>device manager, and look to bottom of the list to USB Controllers. right click on them, and Uninstall all controllers and restart pc and see if all the ports are recognised and installed automatically. Go back to the controllers after restart and ensure there are no'!' marks or no 'X' against any controllers.
