You need to boot the printer into service mode.

Hold down the roll/source button and the info button while you are powering on the machine.

This should get you booted into the service menu where you can then access the replace printhead function

When you have successfully replaced the printhead, reboot the printer to get out of service mode,

You may also want to check the firmware version of your printer and update it.

Updates can be found on the Canon website

I have a Canon IPF 700. After i clean the print head it showed error code 03800500-2F2F .what is the problem and how to fix it?

Hello,

The head management sensor detected an ink discharge error.
A sensor sensitivity error was detected during head management sensor position adjustment.

Possible solution is to reinstall your old print head or replace print head with new one.

Ipf 8000 error E161-403f

I think you need to manually move the carriage unit and replace the print head but go into the service mode first and see whether its asking to have the print head replaced before you spend any money.

I have a canon ipf 6100 printer and it is telling me to prepare for parts change and call for service. need a little help and fast please. do you think its just the print head

At least the printing heads are nearing the end of their life, the carriage might follow soon after. You really need to call the dealer to have the parts replaced.

Ipf 8000 error code 003800500-2f-2f

there is no enough ink in the head managment sensor.
Go to menu, test print, nozzle check, check the grids 12 pair of grids.
Check if there are any brocken grids.
After that you have to perform head cleaning B twice or more.
If the problem still remains then replace print head.
also perform firmware update to the latest version though the official canon site

Canon iPF 8000: Hardware Error 03800500-2F2F and 03800500-2F30

it's a multiple problem....there is no enough ink for the head managment sensor to understand the good function of the print head.
Print a nozzle check to see what is going on
Then come back for more information
