I have an Acer 3000, all of sudden it does not want to run on adapter. Purchased another one and still have the same problems. If I wiggle the adaper cord and hold it tight on the back of the plug that goes in the computer and can some times get a connects then it tells me to switch to adapter (AC) because battery is low. it won't reconize that the ac adapter is plug. Please help someone.
You need to take it/them back this is something that the factory needs to fix
Most likely your problem is caused by a loose connection on the main board of the laptop. Even though it will plug in to the connection, the connection on the mainboard is either cracked or broken. Laptops are VERY hard to work on and you need to find a authorized repair shop for that brand computer in your local area to properly fix this problem.
Good luck!

You are probably right because I did notice a crack on the back of the computer where the monitor and keyboard connection (where the hinges are).
