I have a riptunes mp3 player when i put songs onit to replace it it won't let me and it wont let me delete songs on it even if it shows on the screen its been deleted

Try this solution

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

MY MP3 PLAYER WONT RESET FOR SOME REASON

are you sure you deleted all the songs?I suggest you connect to your pc again ,open the folder where your music is and just try deleting one song.now disconnect and see if the song is still there , actually on the player. It's possible you disconnected before the pc had time to delete everything or that you deleted the files from your pc not the player.Did you get the usual message asking you if you're sure you wanted to delete and did it then show you a progress bar?

Bad track error. songs arent deleting after reformatting and resetting multiple amounts of times.

There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details

If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files

I cant even delete my music or put new music on...

Instead of deleting the songs you may need to format.

If you haven't tryed this follow these simple steps.

To format your device first click on "Start" then click on "My Computer" now look for your mp3 player, if it hasn't been change the names usually called "Removable Disk", once you've found that right-click on it then click on "Format".

Now you've formatted put songs on then try your mp3 player to see if the problems be fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful.
