How can you tell if the bulb is burned out on a RCA 52 inch projection

Replace the vertical output IC (DL032) on the deflection board. It is mounted on a heatsink, in the middle of the board. That is usually the culprit on the ITC222 chassis for bowing problems. Also, check the solder connections on the flyback transformer.

I have the same problem. I had someone come look at it and he showed me the problem but a terrible price, so i didnt have it fixed. The reason the light blinks is there is a problem and the safety mech is kicked in which shuts the TV off. If you take the back of the TV off, about 15 screws, you will see right in the front on the left side a part shaped like the letter "C". The number on top of mine is S5 19 2. That is the part that needs to be replaced. Now to find the part on the internet and figure out how to change it out. any suggestions?

I had the same problem with the power button blinking 3 times and not coming on. I took this advice and changed the flyback 259296. That did not work. I also took the advice of superman276 and changed the cp150 and my tv works now. Flyback is $60 and the cp150 is $2. I pretty much wasted my money on the flyback.
