Im having problems with my 4 y.o. Mitsubishi VS-60805. The whole picture comes out green. Reds are still noticable but everything else in the picture is green. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Dont listen to getting a tech, take the front speaker covers off, and then the panel with a screw driver and you'll see a device that has six knobs, the top middle one is the green, and all adjust something differnt. the top panel are color and the bottom row is clarity, just play and it will be fixed

it isnt worth it, your verticle diflection is out, that board is about 3-4 hundred, and you would probabily need a service center do it(messing with like 30000 volts)and they will probabily charge around 200
When ever a tube starts to short or is shorted set always will have over bearing drive lines then shut down like RED if it was bad, set would come on long enough for red lines across set then shut down this is the same with all 3 tubes. Also if you think it might be green tube disconnected green CRT board on neck of green tube if set comes on and plays then it is green tube do all 3 tube this way one at a time this will tell you if you have other problems.

sounds like u are losing green? is that right. could be loose connections somewhere because it works at start up then fails when it heats up. Look in the yellow pages for a mitz auth servicer or call mitsubishi for one near u.
There is a crt drive problem and you can isolate it by unpluggin g the set, removing the green crt socket, in the middle of the three tubes is the green tube by the way, remove one of the other tubes and switching the crt sockets and turn it on. If the set is still greenish, then the green crt is bad and needs replacement, if another color is primart, then it is going to be the green crt drive circuit and is going to need to be serviced. Good Luck
