My panasonic cinemavision 1080i rear projection hdtv has a faint red bar horizontally across the bottom. What is causing this. Can it be fixed.
Before I notice the problem, a bar stool fell into the side of the unit....not a major crash, but could this have knocked a bulb loose?
This model does not have a bulb. It uses older CRTs.(cathode ray tubes). Your convergence probably is off now. You may be able to re-align it, but between you and me, its an old TV and not worth putting money into. If you can adjust it back, great, it now, Id live with it until you can replace it. check your menu for convergence settings.

Hi,
All that mess in picture is due to failure of convergence output chips in this tv.
Replace convergence output ICs (two ICs) to solve picture problem. Required ICs are available in Part Store, click the link to have price info.
Thanks.
