I have the same problem.. I have not cashed the check yet.. I talked to LG and they said they can modify the refrigerator BUT! it still won't be energy efficient!!!! Not enough Ice, and now Er ff code.....factory solution was to "cut off the fridge for a few hours and see". I shut off the circiut breaker for up to 2.5 hrs and No Joy. I'm not happy weith it.

i would turn your freezer down a few degrees, you are more than likely expeiancing, whats called migration frost, cold air from the freezer, could be freezing your water resivoir or the line from it
causing bad pressure
I was able to get online and go to parts.com and order the part. Figure I am not the only one that has had the draw cover to break. Noted that all of the next generation French door models no longer have that style of draw cover. The idea was good but not very practical.
