Look up the model, google or the like and see if u can find some schematics. Its does seem likely to be the belt but u may find a better way to crack it open.

not same model number .but on my beko....i had to remove side panel.........remove element cover remove motor fan inside fan opening is 4 small bolts,. remove them..... ,.they hold motor to back plate...on front of machine.remove front fan.....then from side panel..remove plastic motor covering and wire harnes...then the motor just pulls forwards remove back plate...and machine bearing...put new belt on.... manover motor back inti place then refit as you took apart..........
Work on mainly Whirlpool Products did you put the belt on correctly there is probably a belt switch which is closed with a properly installed belt it is under the spring loaded idler pulley or maybe you for got to hook up the door switch hope this helps.

A broken belt is very common. If you hear the motor running, that's probably it. The dryer must be taken all apart to replace the belt. Hopefully instructions will come with the new belt. Routing the belt over the motor shaft and around the tensioner is always a challenge.
It may be too late for you, but here it is. I had the same problem, took the dryer apart, and found that one of the rollers was broken. There are two plastic rollers at the bottom rear of the unit. Call around to local parts stores to see if they have this part. It's easy to fix, just takes all day because you have to completely dissasemble the dryer.
