A wand is a thin hand-held stich made of wood or ivory. In modern times, wands are ceremonial and have associations with magic but there have been other uses for wand for martial arts trainings.

My pressure washer does not have pressure with wand attached. If I disconnect hose and wand the pressure washer shoots pressured water out the quick connect. Its an AR pump with a gymatic bypass.

Hi. More than likely the wand is to blame. Reattach the hose but leave off the wand. If the water shoots out then yes it is the wand. Most of these wands can be torn down, cleaned and reused. Most of the time it is a chunk of rust completely blocking the inlet port at the trigger.

No suction when using wand on electrolux precision upright

There is a ball valve between the wand hose and the base hose. It can get stuck in the "base" mode, which won't then redirect suction to the wand hose. There is a spring under the cup that the open end of the hose rests in. When you release the wand from the holster with the one-touch quick release, that spring pushes the cup up and turns the ball valve to the wand setting.
  1. Unplug the vacuum.
  2. Using the one-touch quick release, remove the wand from the holster.
  3. Verify that the wand "cup" is indeed in the higher position. Do this by pushing on the bottom of the cup with your finger. It should easily depress.
  4. Remove the wand hose from the main unit using the quick disconnect feature. Put your fingers into the hole and feel to the right. You will feel the closed valve, verifying that it is stuck in "base" mode.
  5. Using a screw driver, insert the tip at the TOP of this valve and gently pry it downward. This shouldn't take much force.
  6. Reassemble the hose wand using the quick connect feature and reholster the wand.
  7. Plug in the unit and verify that the base unit has suction.
  8. Remove the wand from the holster and verify IT has suction.

I just received a DC 28 animal vacuum and I cannot pull the extension wand out. I see the button to make the wand go up out of the hose, but I cannot figure out how to release the handle from the vacuum. ...

Hi there,

The Quick-draw Telescope Reach wand on your DC28 is designed to detatch from the cleaner automatically when you extend the wand to it's fullest extent. When you replace the wand on the cleaner, the wand will retract automatically down inside the hose. The button on the rear of the wand which you mention will separate the end of the hose from the wand, so you can use the hose without the wand attached when cleaning in tighter spaces. You do not need to press this to extend or retract the wand.

The wand that connects to the power head at the powerhead connection broke(sheared off) fine crack

Hello,

Unfortunatley the Wand for your Miele is sold as an entirely assembly only. Miele does not sell pieces of this wand separately. In order to fix your wand you'll need to purchase a new wand assembly complete.

The wand on your Miele is the Miele SET210 Wand. Here's a link if you need to purchase one;
http://www.govacuum.com/miele-172.html

I would probably guess that your wand broke off right at the bottom where it connects into the power nozzle. Unfortunately this is the weakest part of the wand as you can probably see. The wand narrows into a thinner plastic here, and I've seen a few wands crack off right on the bottom part.

Please feel free to request a repair clarification if you have any questions about how to repair your vacuum.

Can the Magic Wand Rechargeable Massager be charged from a 220 volt power?

If your wand is N American then "don't do it" 220 through a 110/120 will fry all the magic out of it. You could get a step down transformer 220 to 110. Plug that into the 220 socket and plug your magic wand charger into that.

The cost would not be worth it though ... buy some more magic that is 220. be happy ... not sorry :-)

Dyson dc25 animal: cannot remove the telescope reach wand.

The hose is getting twisted on the machine and so the wand gets stuck in the hose.

1) Pull the wand out as far as you can - if you can pull it out completely, separate it from the hose and apply baby powder to the
metal rod. Stretch out the hose and unwind it. In the future, separate the wand and unwind/stretch the hose after use.
2) If you can't pull the wand out all the way, remove the canister/dirt bin from the front. Look for a gray button with 7 vertical
lines/grooves on it (it'll be just above the ball on the opposite side of the bottom hook that you wind the cable around).
3) Push the button and at the same time pull the hose out from the bottom by pulling on the hook - this will release the gray hose
from the machine. Take it off of the machine if possible (the bottom of the wand may stop you from doing so - if it does, try to pull
the wand out until you can release the hose from the bottom)
4) Pull and stretch the hose out and pull the wand at the same time - separate the wand from the hose and unwind the gray hose and
stretch it out. Rub baby powder on the metal rod of the wand and in future, disconnect the wand from the hose and stretch/unwind the
hose after every time you use the wand.

I have Dyson animla and the wand stop working....no bloc anywhere

The hose is getting twisted on the machine and that makes it difficult to pull it out.
1) Pull the wand out as far as you can - if you can pull it out completely, separate it from the hose and apply baby powder to the metal rod. Stretch out the hose and unwind it. In the future, separate the wand and unwind/stretch the hose after use.
2) If you can't pull the wand out all the way, remove the u-bend from the bottom of the machine - turn that plastic screw at the bottom next to the gray hose 45 degrees anti-clockwise and take the u-bend off.
3) Pull the hose out from the bottom (don't pull it out all the way - just enough to release the wand) and pull the wand at the same time - separate the wand from the hose and unwind the gray hose and stretch it out. Rub baby powder on the metal rod of the wand and in future, disconnect the wand from the hose and stretch/unwind the hose after every time you use the wand.

Rainbow e series vaccum/scubber

If you are talking about the hard wood floor brush you hook it at the end of the one slightly bent wand. Look at the end of the brush that you would hook to the wand. In the circle opening there are two slits. On the end of the wand there are two bumps. You need to line them up, push the brush on then twist it around so it stays on. then you attach the straight wand to that and the other slightly bent wand at the other end of the straight one. It will go like this Wet hose, slightly bent wand, straight wand, slightly bent wand, and floor brush. I hope I helped. Leave the basin empty. put your water or cleaner on the floor scrub it around then turn machine on and suck it up.
