Vcr jam There is a tape stuck in the vcr portion of the player. when pressing the power button the vcr runs for about 5-10 seconds. After that there is an error message on the screen. How do I fix this?

You really should take this unit into a repair shop with the stuck tape as to get this bugger out of the unit will require the tape loading mechanism to be disassembled. if this is not taken apart correctly, you could cause more damage to the unit. Good Luck.
