Sounds like the back light circuit is going bad after the unit is on for a spell. This is not a repair for the end user to attempt. I recommend that you look in the owners manual for a phone number or address for service and call or contact them. Good Luck

Hi, i have the same problem but not always at 15 minutes, sometime longer and sometime shorter. However it is the same symptom. I put a table fan right at the lower back of the TV and blow it upward at about 45 degree to make sure the air blow inside of the TV as much as possible. I used this way for a month and haven't had any black out problem. The only thing that you have to live with is your fan's noice. Good luck to your.
