I think you will have to reset it via the rs232 console port connection mode via a console emulator on the p.c.

Hi,
This router will have a Reset button in back side of router.
Press that button for 30 Seconds. It will go back to factory default setting.

Welcome to Fixya. D-Link Des-1008d is not a router. It's an 8 port switch. You won't be logging into that unit, It's a switch and has no login, it just works.

the address should be like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. and this is in the address bar and NOT the search bar.

The Switch's factory default IP address is 10.90.90.90
with a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0 and a default gateway of 0.0.0.0.

Manufacturer can reset that with the mac add. and S/N. if it hasn't been set try leaving username blank and enter admin for the password

The only way is to send to D-Link support your equipment's serial number and MAC address, and they will generate a master password.
