Dropped my phone in water.need to get it reapired costeffectively

Hi its a good indication that you still have water inside the phone.
to get rid of all the water in the circuts, you will need:

1 get a loner phone ( bcause the process i will show you here takes 10 days minimum to work).

you need a zip container with a lit, some desiccant bags 2 or 3 will do just fine.
salt can also be used as desiccant, but it should not touch the phone, use a papaer envelop or something

2 Blow dry the phone
3 put it in the container without the battery
4 put the desiccant bags inside
5 close it hermetically,
then go hide it in some dark spot for 10 days and be patient

Note that you might need a new battery.

Alot of the LG phones have had this problem. My Keybo has the same problem and it isn't because you dropped it in water. Take it to the service place. They may need to replace it or tell you otherwise. Good Luck!

have the phone check at a repair center and have them test the camera the problem sould be from the board.

im unsure if theres a problem with the scree or you mightve gotten a shortage in the phone

you can open the pone and try to use a hair dryer to dry out the phone, but I don't think that is going help.

You will need to revive yuor phone by taking out all moisture trapped in. First of all do not turn on the phone, next, in order to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

probably too late but he first thing to don in that sit. is rinse the phone in a 75/25 solution of alcohol and water. then open up as you did and let it dry. if you can see water on the display screen your probably out of luck but keep it warm and dry for a few days and see what happens.

You dealt smartly with liquid dropped cell phone. Water and salt badly effects cell phone's battery and display. You have samrtly saved your phone but i must say that your effected display is ruined and needs to replace. You can replace it by contacting skilled techncian near you. There is not another way and i m sorry to say that. Ask fixya for servicemen arround you.

this happened to me for more then 3 seconds in water for the razor, turn off the phone, remove the battery and SIM card, let it sit in a dry place over night, and check again next day, it should be fully functional
