You may not need drivers; try plugging your scanner in after Win boots.
If you get a box stating that WIn has 'found' a new device, it may install a basic driver for USB.
Otherwise, check the scanner mfr.'s website for drivers that you may need.
Every hardware device has a suitable driver. Same for ur barcode scanner, u require the exact driver for it. You can search the driver in internet by giving the exact model. Then after getting it install in your system . your problem will be solved.
Look in the base of your scanner. There should be a clip holding and securing the battery.
