Be sure you have the software installed correctly, then conect the usb to the computer, browse the motorola software and finally insert the cable to the phone.. it should appear a message that says that is correctly conected.. then u just look up the mp3s you want to add .. to the phone ..and voilaa... well remember also that the mp3 should be just like 1 or 2 mins long if its not there is no way you can store it in the phone..

How do I use my iPod With an HP TouchSmart

<p>The HP TouchSmart PC is a common computer, except it has a touchscreen. This allows you to tap the various icons on the screen for games, applications, and download files, and open your iTunes. Using an iPod with your HP TouchSmart PC is like using your iPod to another computer or MacBook. However, instead of using a mouse to navigate through your iTunes library, you need to tap your finger, or "click" on the items you want to open and upload to your iPod. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Turn on the computer end of the USB cable into USB port of your TouchSmart. The end of the computer's USB cable is the smaller of the two sides. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Connect the other end of USB cable to the bottom of your iPod. Normally, when you connect your iPod to the TouchSmart PC, iTunes opens automatically. If it does not open, tap the iTunes icon on the screen of your desktop to open the application. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Tap "File" at the top toolbar of iTunes. Select "Sync iPod" to upload music, photos and even files from your iTunes library to your iPod. <br /> <p><br /> <p>4. Select the "Eject iPod" icon in "Device: iPod" on the left side of the screen. This will allow you to safely remove the USB cable from your iPod and TouchSmart. <br />

Code?! FORGOT YOUR CODE?!

In order to get rid of the forgotten code and disabled message, we must restore the device.

In this case when the iphone or itouch or similar is giving you a message that its disabled, then we have to first force the device into recovery mode, from which we can do a normal restore.

Note that this removes all the content from your player.

Basically the steps are

1. Take out the usb cable, connect it to the computer, but not to the device.

2. Turn off your device

3. While pressing and holding the home button, reconnect the usb cable to the device, when you reconnect the usb cable the phone or itouch should power on.

If you are low on battery let it charge for a while, then start from thebeginning (unplug the usb from the device)

4. While still holding the home button, until you see a message about "Connect to Itunes" then let go.

5. if not already open, open itunes, you should receive a short warning about recovery mode.

6. do a normal restore from itunes, it wipes the devices and the disabled message and the forgotten code are removed.

How do i remove music from my mp3 player?

It depends.

When connected via USB to a computer, some MP3 players imitate a "disk-drive". Open "My Computer", and select the drive-letter, and select the folders/files, and press the DELETE key on your keyboard to delete the selected item(s).

On the other hand, if you connect an iPod to your computer, then iTunes will open, and you can use the iTunes software to "browse" the music on the iPod, and can delete files.

Mini iphone ka08. not recognized by itunes or windows explorer

iTunes is specific for Apple related (and protected) music/players (iPhone, iPod, etc.). The Ka08 reads any MP3 file. To copy files to your phone, connect your phone via usb to pc, open file explorer, locate the mp3 files you want on your phone, copy, locate and open your phone (usualy the last 2 (two) 'removable disk') (the first one is usualy the memory card and the second one the internal memory) (use of memory card is strongly recommended), if you haven't done already i recommend you create (on the memory card) a folder called 'MP3', and paste your MP3 files there.

I can't get my songs onto my iPod Nano

The Ipod or the USB cable may be defective.
Try first connecting the Ipod to a different computer to test it, or using a different data cable.

If Ipod works, then do the following.

Unplug computer power cable, and if it is a laptop or a macbook also remove battery for ten minutes. This will get rid of elecrostatic charges on USB connectors.
If that does not work try reinstalling Itunes, this will synch the Ipod again with the computer.

Can someone walk me thru getting this mp3 player to work?

Connecting your mp3 player to your computer Connect one end of the USB cable to your computer’s USB Port. Then connect the smaller end of the USB cable to your MP3 players USB Port. Turn the unit on. In MS Windows a new icon will appear in “My Computer”. “Removable Disk” will appear in my computer. Windows recognizes it as a removable disk.
Transferring Files and Folders
1. Find files or folders you wish to transfer.
2. Select and highlight
3. Use Copy command
4. Go to “My Computer”
5. Locate and open “Removable Disk”
6. Once opened, paste file to “Removable Disk” folder.

Now to download from cds you need to record the cds to the computer. I would use something like itunes to build a song libary.

Good Luck

Can't download music

You can upload MP3 files in phone memory like this :
1. Connect your phone with PC via USB cable
2 You must have at least Windows XP SP 2
3 Open ,,Removable disk" form ,,My Computer"
4 Open Sounds and there you will find MP3 Folder.
5 Paste the songs that you want from Your PC

If you are using Memory Card you will have 2 ,,removable disk" partitions.
