I found this link regarding your Merits S2454 power scooter.

Click on "Supporting Doc". Click on "S2454/2354 Owners Manual".
On page 15, it states that 9 flashes means "Other internal error".
At the bottom of the homepage for Merits power scooters, there is a number to contact for further help.

it appears to be 94 lbs. Base 54, Seat 18, Battery 22.
Capacity = 300 lbs.

7 is throttle trip Remove battery pack .remove key .charge battery pack then refit ,have a cupper then try with key back in .if this fails you need dealer

It depends on the number of blinks that it's giving you.
For example if it blinks 4 times and there is a longer pause and then it blinks 4 times again, it's a 4 blink code and that means a right motor fault.
every number of blinks will mean something different

Count the number of times the power light blinks between pauses ie 4 blinks pause 4 blinks etc and this is the fault code If you have the users manual it might tell you what the code means. As long as the power eye blinks the scooter will not move and without knowing the error code I can't give you the definite answer Good luck

sender the yellow x indicates a malfunction in the scooter. Does the x blink. If it does count the number of flashes and this will give the error code. Your users manual should explain what each code means. If Medicare paid for your scooter then they will pay for most of the repair cost. Try to reset your manual brake release as this is a common problem.
If you continue to have a problem, contact your manufacturer or dealer for service. If your insurance purchased they power chair for you, they may also cover the cost of repairs.
