hey, yes you can transfer pictures from the computer to your camera...you take the memory card from your camera and insert it in your computer (if you do not have the slot to insert the memory card you cannot transfer pictures) thn sync pictures to the memory card and then insert memory card back into camera.
No the Brand would not make any diffrence if the memory card doesnt get formatted on the camera itself u can try to format it on the computer............
Just insert the memory card into the camera connect the camera to the computer goto my computers there u will see the camera removable disk which is the memory card......
Right click on that click on format and format it........Then try to use it on ur camera i am sure it will work fine..............
I had a similar situation with two of my C530's, one would only come on
with the front red light (above the lens) flashing twice and then
staying on solid red (regardless of the dial position). The other would turn on, but the LCD display
would turn almost white and all pictures would be white.
Make sure you
have good batteries, remove them from the camera, put them back in
(make sure the dial is in OFF position before you insert the batteries)
and with one finger put pressure on the top of the camera between the
dial and viewfinder. Don't use excessive force,
as not to crack the case, but put some pressure on it and as your
squeezing it, turn the camera ON (Auto, Movie or View). This worked
for both of my cameras, on one I have to do this one once in a while, the other I'll be taking apart to find out what's going on under the case.
Check that you are still taking picures by connecting to the computer or looking at the memory card elsewhere[through a card reader for example.
Want to establish with this a CCD problem or a Firmware problem.
