SOURCE: vestax pdx-2000mkiipro keeps blowing internal fuses

You have a short in your unit, and you will need professional assistance in determining the cause. You might also want to try a different outlet. If it fails, then you'll need to bring it to a service center for repair.

SOURCE: i carnt remove the turntable platter can anyone help

The platter needs a drop of oil as the platter and motor shaft is a machined fit, Via brass upside down v as the platter will be reversed ie: a A WITH NO LINE . You can place two plastic wedge shaped blocks ,one on each side of the platter with even pressure and work up.

SOURCE: hi, have been given a vestax pdx 2300 turntable

Is there a speed control switch? UNPLUG and try spraying contact cleaner into the speed control. IF that doesn't solve it, then back to the manufacturer.

SOURCE: my turntable keeps skiping for no reason, no

What is the weight on the stylus? Flip the protective shield down to protect the stylus if available. Tare the tone arm (adjust the counterweight on the back of the arm until the arm floats perfectly level), then hold the counterweight and turn the dial markings to read zero. If you cannot find the recommended mass for the stylus you can use the average weight of 3g. Verify your tone arm is still floating in the center and the arm is perfectly level. Turn the counterweight until the dial indicates the specified weight of the cartridge manufacture specification sheet or you can set it for 3g if you do not have the specification sheet.

Vestax pdx 2000 loose to the touch deck

It is possible that the deck that feels loose is not properly secured to the turntable. You may want to try tightening the screws or bolts that hold the deck in place. If this does not fix the issue, there may be a problem with the bearings or the motor of the turntable. It is best to consult a technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.

Clibrate pitch Vestax PDX d3S

It's a variable , since it's depended on more parts, but just clean it first and gently turn it until the platter moves correct, assuming you
mean to correct the variable resistor(potmeter) . If the value was everywhere the same, then you don't need a variable resistor:)

I have problem with tonearm on my vestax pdx 2000 turntable , no connection with needle , but when I make contacts of the needle wet it sometimes help a bit , but I should do it always to make it work. ...

I'd be checking the weight and height settings of the tonearm. Heres a link to the manual for the deck. There's instructions in there about how to setup up the tonearm properly. Don't be afraid to experiment with it. Just remember, too much weight will wear out your vinyl really quickly. Not enough weight will sound like **** and skip easily. Have fun!

Re: Power Problem

More than likely the power transformer fried. If so, it will need to be replaced. You might also want to check the fuse. Some of the PDX units have fuses on the rear (where the RCA cables connect)... some don't. I've also seen some that have a fuse on the inside of the turntable, underneath the turntable platter... some don't. If your's has a fuse, see if it has burned out. If so, just replace.

If not, then the only other thing that would affect power on the PDX is the power transformer, and only a qualified service tech should replace this for you.
