Question about Mitsubishi VS-1250 TV

1 Answer

Mitsubishi black diamond tv

My girlfriend bought a 14" black diamond tv two years ago, and now when she turns it on, the image appears briefly, 2/3 seconds, and then goes bright blue... The entire screen. The sound is still audible, but no picture. She never turns it off, except by remote. I turned it off at the wall, leaving it overnight, but this has not made any difference. Can you suggest anything. The tv has hardly been used. Thankyou so much.

Might be a bad CRT or bad video output IC that drives the CRT that would cause this issue.

Mitsubishi Diamond Series CS-27609 problem...image looks "fisheye"

2 years later and I may have a solution for you

I has a similar problem and I didn't quite fix it but made it less noticeable.

Press menu and then the code 2-3-5-7, this enters a service menu. Press Audio/Video to go between the options to get to options 40-50 to adjust geometry. Be sure to write what setting there on before you change it (even if they're wrong) just in case.

Its just trial and error from there, and hope I can still help.
