If you have put in a new RPS and are sure it is correctly installed then next step would be to test the RPS is sending the correct info back to the control module. That can only be done with an RPS tester which a service company should have. Not worth the expense of buying one just for one job. If RPS tester proves that the RPS is working correctly then the control board will have to be replaced as it must be processing that info incorrectly.

Sounds like your pump is blocked. **UNPLUG the machine**. lift or drag the machine to a spot where you can let the water dump out. The water comes out fast and makes a big mess. Tilt the machine back. On the front-right underside of the machine you will see the pump with the fan hanging down. Unplug the white plug and the earth cable from the back of the pump. You might notice that there is a white plastic clip that you can move to the side. Hold the clip out and twist the pump clockwise. At this point the pump will drop out and water will go everywhere. Try and take the pump out kinda fast so that the coil does not get too wet while the water is dropping out. you might find a blockage (coil, hair clip, underwire etc) sticking out from where the pump impeller sits. Pull out your blockage and check that the pump spins freely when you spin it by hand. If it does not spin freely you need a new pump.

Now, after you unblock your pump, you can put it back together the same way you took it off. Make sure the white plug is not wet before plugging it into the pump and make sure the pump coil is dry too! use a blowdryer to dry for a minute if unsure. When twisting the pump back in, the wires should be at the back of the machine and the earth cable is kinda close to the rotor (motor). Make sure the pump is sitting flat so the seal works too. That clip should click lock back into place to hold the pump from turning. The washer will not spin until all the water is out in case you are wondering. Hope this helps!

The drain pump is jammed. Switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket. Tilt the machine back so you can look under it. On the right you will see a motor which looks like it is upside down. This is your drain pump. Remove the wiring harness from the pump and turn the pump clockwise while pulling back the little white plastic clip which holds the pump in place. Clean thoroughly and replace pump.

Hi Dale..
It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.

first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.

Hi i have a fisher and paykel mw612 washer and the 3rd and 5th light is on, whats up with it?

if it cant pump out, it wont spin. Have a look at the pump or tub to pump hose and see if its blocked or jammed by a foreign object.

Mw612 not working

It looks like Error Code 130,
130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor Position Sensor Error
The Motor Controller has found an error in the pattern received from the Rotor Position Sensor.
Likely causes of this fault are a bad connection on the harness
between the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor Controller,
or a faulty Rotor Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action:
1) Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor and
the Motor Controller module connector.
2) Check the contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to
see if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action:
Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester.
Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module.
Action: Replace Motor Controller module.

Machine goes through normal wash until final spin and then beeps error lights 1 and 7

This is the diagnostic code menu for the fisher and paykel if you were to scroll down to number 130 it would tell you that the error message that you are receiving is due to the rps sensor in the unit and the solution would be to check your rps sensor with an rps sensor and replace if necessary. The rps sensor is the control located near the stator that controls the stator speed in the unit otherwise known as the motor and your motor speed. If you have any further questions message me back Thanks again and here is the link to the codes http://www.docstoc.com/docs/25379715/Fisher-_-Paykel-Washer-Diagnostic-Fault-Codes I await your reply if you have any further questions and please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again Rick

Fisher and paykel washer lights 1 and 7 stay on and machine beeps..what does this mean?

Lights 1 and 7 from the left indicate a rotary position sensor fault. This could be a bad connection or a faulty RPS....Checking and/or replacing RPS is not a big job...Good luck....Nomess

Fisher paykel gwl10us wont fill

Both of you most likely are getting a "RPS Sensor Fault"
On a GWL10, when the motor rotor position sensor fails, it will act exactly like you describe. Many techs incorrectly replace the machine control or the water inlet valve(s). The RPS sensor is much cheaper. If you consult the tech sheet located under the control panel, you will see the fault code for RPS failure and I would bet the farm that the sequence of LEDs displayed when your washer faults out matches exactly with the RPS fault code.

The RPS sensor for GWL10 and GWL11 models is a part # 420296P and canbe purchased direct from Fisher Paykel Parts:
http://fisherpaykelparts.net/index.php?categoryid=111&productid=5

The procedure to replace it is a little involved but a handy person can do it. It would be best to consult the factory service manual and again, that can be purchased from Fisher Paykel Parts direct here:
