Can a 4 channel amp run door speakers and a (1) sub as well

I have a kenwood deck, a farenheit 4 channel amp. There are 2 door speakers and 2 dash speakers. I would like to add a sub. Can I run it off the same amp?

SOURCE: audio system

#1. Remove 2 screws above speedometer. and then remove the 2 screws under the AC/heater control
#2. to get to the rear speakers you can either go through the trunk to remove the speakers or take the back seats out.
you dont usually have to remove the rear panel. the speakers slide right out from bottom.

SOURCE: Whining sound in speakers that changes with RPM.

poor line filtering along your amplifier!
place a high value capacitor in parallel with the supply input of your amplifier.
try 16v 3300uf, if your using 12volt source.

SOURCE: no sound coming from door speakers

In the yukon it has preamplify,if you disconnect stock stereo the amp is not workind unless you know how to find it. You gotta let the car-toy hook it up for you.

The one you have will work but an aftermarket one would work better. You will get more output out of an aftermarket deck.

SOURCE: The speaker in all four doors stopped working.

if you have a premium sound system you will have a amplifier under your dash somewhere this could be a problem. if the amp dont work your head will and you wont get any sound. if its not a premium system from the manufacturer its prob a speaker ground problem since they normaly use a universal ground for all 4 speakers.

Mid ranged speakers dont work. Only the stock sub and dash speaker works.

Is there a loose wire on those speakers? If not they could be played out.

Check ALL the ground wires. Did you use a fuse block power source for the subs?

1989 Licoln Town Car Audio system stopped

depends on whether u installed an amp for the door/dash/rear speakers or not or if it came with a factory amp for these speakers. fuse box is in 1 of 3 places, 1 under the driver side dash, 2 in the glove box, 3 on left side of dash. also if this stereo is not factory u might want to check the fuse on the stereo itself to see if mayb it has gone out or has burned the outputs.

Speaker sizes

3 1/2" Mid range on dash, 6 1/2" Mids in the driver and passenger doors, 6X9"'s in the rear seat, and added (2) 10" Rockford Punch Phase 2 subs in the cargo area with a Rockford 3000 W. amp to power. Sounds Great!
