After I had transferred my photos to the computer I can't find any of them either in the computer nor on the SD card. Is there any way to recover the photos?
Chances of recovery can be high as long as you act as soon as possible
and stop using the digital camera to take more photos or videos, also
keep the camera memory card in good shape (no physical damage).
Then
you can rely on a digital camera data recovery software to get the job
done and retrieve your photos. Here shows a list of good ones (for
PC/Mac) http://www.digital-camera-recovery.com/
You'll need to
connect the camera (mass memory card) to your computer. Then install the
program to start scan (the card or your PC hard drive) & recover your files.
Have you used this SD card since then?
If you have not, you can restore all your
wanted photos back directly from this SD card with the help of a SD card data recovery freeware:

just in the same way as it successfully restores all the inaccessible data of
my friend off from his camera memory card.

Note: If you really want get back all your original
photos, you'd better never save anything else on the same SD card in case that
any new file would overwrite them.
Next time, you should always remember to
back up all your photos well.
