Dishwasher Detergent cap assembley

I am trying to install a replacement detergent cap assembly. Cap, shift, spring, and all parts that go with it. Don't know how to put it all together. Help!!! Thanks, Paul

Info. re. addition of detergent....WT30

there is a place to put the soap on the front of that one.just unscrew the cap.. that's a really nice dishwasher by the way. i've never had the pleasure of installing one.

The dishwater detergent dispencer doesn't open when it should during it's timing cycle.

HI, this is the result of a damaged Actuator assembly. you will need to replace this assembly. it is a spring loaded assembly that dispenses the detergent.

Detergent cap

Thanks for the model number. On your particular unit you can only latch the unit in the off position. If it still does not latch, open the door and remove all thr screws you see. Normal seven of them. Now, split the door and take a close look at the locking mechanism. Did something come loose? Is the spring in tact...Play with it and see how it works,...then what must be done to repair. It is really a simple system and has been tried and tested for many years in the GE Dishwashing Units. Detergent latch install for Bosch SHU3307UC dishwasher

you need to remove the front panel of the dishwasher. you need to open the door and remove the 6 torx screws on the inside of the door, close the door and lift up and out to remove front panel. you wiil see the detergent assembly there

Need a diagram for the kenmore dishwasher model 665.16645890

I have GE Dishwasher (model no:GSD1100G02),and for the last few month I was not able close the main detergent cup cap(it is coming back to full open position,even after keeping the CAP turned all the way to a closing postion)
I have called the GE spare parts division,and obtained the New detergent cup cap,and when I tried to remove the old one,inorder to replace with the new one,I was not able remove old one.

Please help me how to remove the old main detergent cup cap,and replace with a new one.
