You will need to delete some things from the HDD. Look at what you have and remove anything that you do not use that is taking up a large amount of space.

My HP COMPAQ DX2390 Microtower PC running on W7 PRO stops at the HP LOGO and does not continue to start W7. When i press F10 for boot menu it loads forever. same to esc key for boot menu.

ok, this is very simple and basic but recovery is not.(can be impossible) we have no idea at all how the OS W7 got there, or the history of the HDD, (ever replaced) OS UPGrades? vista to 7? that LOGO is just BIOS. as is F10. so PC not dead BIOS not dead. but f11 is that dead? recovery? have your read thje manual yet, see HDD tests. that is first, no OS made runs on a dead HDD or one that is weak, smart tests failing is weak.l OS fails to boot, OS is dead, missing or corrupted or HDD is bad.that is the problem. are you backed up? that is Q1, every time to the ends of time. are you? if yes or no data personal there, or apps personal with licenses. then do the full blown HP F11 restore or try W7 startup repair, google that. if the HDD is good an never slammed. means HP recovery partition not gone or wrecked then F11 work power on , hammer F11. see? power on see if hdd test is in the BIOS my HP has that, I run that and if HDD fails, it does not lie, if that passes I run full demo linux media and run full HDD smart tests if those fail, new HDD time. there is no other way with HDD bad. HP sure does not sell media kits after 3 years, your is way way older. 10 years old it seems, even some with VISTA. read here. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-dx2390-microtower-pc/3658390/manuals

Disc c is showing full of memory and everything goes downloaded in this disc but it has no space other volume are free..so what i do

Usually the C drive is your main drive on your computer. The C hard disk drive (HDD) contains space measured in gigabytes, for example 500GB means 500 gigabytes of data that you can store on this HDD.

If the C drive on your system is showing full, then it is time to backup some of your data to another HDD usually an external HDD, that you can purchase at locations such as CompUSA or Best Buy.

The other volumes you refer to are internal HDD then you're in luck. Move some of your data from your C HDD to your other HDD.

Remember that after a certain point, a HDD may stop responding or respond very slowly when it is almost completely full.

Let me know if this helps out.

Hard drive is full

Aquire disk imaging program such as norton ghost. Install 2nd, larger HDD into existing computer. Boot computer using ghost boot disk. "Image" existing HDD to newer, larger HDD.

Remove existing HDD. Set 'new' HDD to proper position (Master, etc).

Boot computer.

Slow startup, slow responce.

Well this is an obvious fix but replace your HDD with a 7200 rpm SATA HDD from http://www.newegg.com
It should be a fairly cheap upgrade depending on how much storage you need.

You should see a significant improvement. I be willing to bet your HDD is a slow 5200 rpm and slow seek time.

Remember, the slowest parts of your computer is your HDD and CDROM
