Going through normal wash cycle but stopping when it gets to the rinse and spin. you can manually put it on spin but this still leaves the clothes ringing wet even when done 3 or 4 times.

My 5 yr old hoover PE235 starts off normally but stops abruptly in the rinse cycle. When I restart it some times it goes into the spin mode but the clothes are still wet. But if I turn it off where the dial is stuck at spin & just turn it on again, it completes the spin and dries. I wonder whats causing this. Calling out an engineer will cost me as much as buying a new machine! Help!

Hi,I had this problem,on some of the programs you need to make sure the crease guard button is in the off position (out)

Have you had the the control prgrame board tested as mine was doing the same thing and the engineer said, that my control panel was faulty ! hope this helps

My Lg too load washer sprays water during spin cycle

It is normal for a washer to spin and spray fresh water over the clothes during rinse period. I don’t know why it would leave clothes wet. Look at your options. See if you can turn off rinse n spin to just spin.

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

LG Tromm Steam Washer Cycle is complete and the stuff is so wet that they have to wrung by hand to even put they on a clothes line. Can washer be put on spin only? How?

call a technician as it indicates that the cycle from rinse, spin is not progressing to spin only
rinse,spin is a low speed spin to facilitate the rinse and to balance out the clothes ready for the fast speed spin cycle

Ge washing machine fills up with water on spin cycle

Sounds like the timer is screwed... Sending out the wrong signals and the dryer is doing the rinse cycle when it should just be the spin cycle. Do t know what your timer looks like in that washer but most now days look like the picture.

It is most likely that you have a faulty water inlet valve. Some machines have a seperate valve for rinse to flush in a fabric softener I suspect that your detergent flushing valve is faulty.....Good luck Nomess

Wash doesn't go through full cycle

I have a Maytag model A490 clothes washer. It works fine up to the rinse cycle and then shuts down. When it reaches this point it has become necessary to manually advance the dial a short ways whereupon it will fill with water and complete the rinse and spin cycles. This happens on both the regular and the permanent press cycles. What needs to be done to fix this problem?

This is a relativly simple solution... The washer probably wont spin either... Thanats due to a bad lid switch. Try replacing mthe lid switch and go from there.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
