Hp laserjet p3005 68.1 error coming

The actual error says that the hard drive is bad. I bet that you don't have a hard drive on your printer, so read on...

From the manual

NVRAM initialization
CAUTION Initializing the NVRAM resets the serial number, the event log, the page counts, and
the EIO card (initializing the NVRAM resets SERVICEmenu values to factory defaults). Use the
service menu to restore the serial number and page counts. Also reconfigure any computers that
print to this device so that the computers can recognize the device. Initialize the NVRAM only
when absolutely necessary. In most situations, use a cold reset rather than a NVRAM initialization
to reset device settings (this will retain the values in the SERVICEmenu).
NOTE Before performing a NVRAM initialization, print a menu map and a configuration page
. Use the information on the configuration page to reset
any customer-set device configuration values that the NVRAM initialization procedure changes.
Take special note of the total page count, maintenance count, and the serial number.
1. Remove any installed accessories.
2. Turn the device off.
3. Turn the device on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the button. Continue
holding down the button until all three device control-panel lights flash once and then remain
on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
4. Press the button.
5. Press the Menubutton. The display should show SKIP DISK LOAD.
6. Press the button until NVRAM INITis highlighted.
7. Press . The device initializes NVRAM and then continues the power-on sequ

How can I perform an NVRAM initialization with my HP CM1015 MFP

NVRAM initialization
CAUTION NVRAM initialization will erase all network settings. Before performing NVRAM
initialization, print a Network Configuration page, which contains network-setting information.
NVRAM initialization performs the following actions:
? Resets all customer-accessible menu settings via control panel and software back to the factory
default settings
? Resets the language to the value set at the factory
? Resets the default media size to cold reset media size
? Resets the symbol set to PC-8
NOTE The following steps reset the same NVRAM locations that are reset using the
Restore Defaults option in the control panel Service menu. The following process should be
used if the MFP does not come to a Ready state and an NVRAM initialization is desired.
Use the following procedure to perform an NVRAM initialization.
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the Right arrow and Cancel buttons simultaneously.
3. Turn on the printer.
4. When you see the message Permanent storage init, release the Right arrow and Cancel buttons.
When the NVRAM init is complete, the printer returns to the Ready state.

Whenever I print my document, it doesn't exist the document I want to print but many strange symbols appear on the printed paper, how can I solve this problem?

Cold reset
A cold reset changes most system parameters in NVRAM to the factory defaults. However, unlike NVRAM inititialization, a cold reset does not reset the page count, the paper tray sizes, language, or formatter number.
Note If an HP Jetdirect card is installed, remove it before performing a cold reset. Otherwise, the procedure will also reset all the HP Jetdirect settings as well as the printer settings.
To perform a cold reset
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Press and hold down the GO button.
3 Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the GO button for at least 5 seconds, but not longer than 15 seconds. During this process, the Attention LED will turn on.
4 Release the GO button.
Note If both the Attention and the Ready LEDs turn on before you release the GO button, you must start the procedure again with step 1.
5 The printer's LEDs will begin cycling. The cold-reset process will
run until completion, and the printer will return to the ready state.

If not work, tris this

NVRAM initialization

CAUTION Only perform the following procedure if absolutely necessary.
Performing an NVRAM initialization resets some parameters that cannot be restored later.
NVRAM initialization sets all default variables stored in NVRAM back to factory default values or to a default ROM value, depending on the variable. It also performs a system reset.

NVRAM initialization resets the following:

  • all menu settings to factory default values
  • factory settings such as formatter number, page counts, and factory paper settings
To perform NVRAM initialization
1 Turn the printer off.
2 Press and hold down the GO button.
3 Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the GO button for at least 20 seconds. During this process, the GO button, Attention, and Ready LEDs will each turn on.
4 Release the GO button.
5 The printer LEDs will begin cycling. The NVRAM-unit process will run until the printer is in the ready state.

How do I reset a Xerox Phaser 4500 Centreware password to factory default.. or what is the factory default password? I have on which has been changed and nobody seems to know the PW anylonger

this should restore it to default.

By default there is no username or password required to access CentreWare Internet Services. If a username and password have been configured for CentreWare Internet Services and you do not remember the username and / or password, reset the printer to factory defaults (NVRAM reset).
To reset the NVRAM, go to the front panel's Main Menu:
  1. Select Troubleshooting, then press the OK button.
  2. Select Service Tools, then press the OK button.
  3. Select Reset NVRAM, press the OK button.
  4. Select Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW, then press the OK button to reset all the settings to their factory default values.

Advice phaser 7300dn appear 10: eeprom ,help me please!

Hi,

The only thing you can do is attempt a reboot and hope for the best, otherwise call out an engineer to repair it! Or you could try and NVRAM reset but I'm not sure if that will work and be careful because you will set the machine to factory settings and may have to do a colour calibration all over again. Let me know how it goes.

Resetting all settings to default (NVRAM)
Resetting the NVRAM will reset all printer values including network, printer setup, job defaults, and color calibrations.
  1. Press the Down arrow key and scroll to Support.
  2. Press the OK key.
  3. Press the Down arrow key and scroll to Service Tools Menu.
  4. Press the OK key.
  5. Reset NVRAM will be displayed.
  6. Press the OK key.
  7. Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW will be displayed.
  8. Press the OK key to reset all the settings to default.
