Question about Motorola Mobility HS820 Consumer Headset

Motorol HS820 Speaker issue

Hi, When I make a call, I am able to hear what the others speak, but other cant hear me. However I can hear myself on the speaker. I am same problem with all cell phones. This is a brand new BT hands free headset. Thanks.

I have a motorola h721 and I have the same problem , I can hear them but they don't hear me.

User "Nitol" seems to be having the same problem with this headset. I'd recommend calling motorola support, see what they think of it. If you're lucky, they'll recognise the apparently common probem and help you out.

The mic on your phone is not working... check if it is muted on your phone...

If it is not muted, then it can be a hardware issue, your mic might have gone bad... you can take it to any service center and get the work done there....Just ask them to replace the mic, the cost of the mic is very cheap it costs around less than half a dollar in INDIA....

Motorola HS820 - cannot hear anything nor can others hear me

It turns out it was the Blackberry's problem, which could only be solved by a 're-boot' - take off the back of the Blackberry, pull out the battery for 10 seconds or so, and replace it. The BB will 'reset' and all was fine then.

It definitely is not the speaker but the Microphone; we got to have tested no smart way out.

To confirm that ur speaker is dead try to speak in the loud speaker mode. If u happen to hear them in loud speaker mode but not in the normal speaker mode then its confirmed that u need to replace ur speaker unit.

Hi Friend,
As you have mentioned that the caller can't hear you,the problem is in your speaker of your mobile kindly replace the speaker at near by service center so that you can get a good and permanent solution.

Need Help with my earphones

the headset has two jack,one is for headset speaker with the speaker symbol on it and the other is for mic purpose(for speaking or sound input). plug jack with speaker symbol to the same speaker symbol socket in ur laptop and other to the same mic symbol.

That may point to a ear piece speaker problem (where you hear the call)

Pairing with Blackberry 8310 I can pair the headset with other mobile devices, but when it comes to my blackberry, after I have entered the passcode, it states "waiting for Motorola HS820"......and then keeps waiting. If I press the return arrow key, the bluetooth symbol suggests the device is paired -but it is not.
