Okidata 3410 pacemark not printing correctly

Pacemark 3410 was printing as if needed a new print head. Replaced print head but did not correct the issue. only prints the top half of words and sometimes does not print anything just a blank page. Left side of paper usually just blank but, right side of paper is only top half of the words. Replaced print head and this was not corrected. Any suggestions?

Get your screwdriver and remove the new printhead. Now, reinsert the printhead contact board in the slot firmly, and MAINTAIN FIRM FORWARD PRESSURE ON THE ENTIRE PRINTHEAD ASSEMBLY WHILE YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. Not too tight, but very firm pressure FORWARD. I don't know why, but this almost always works to get you same gap as before you changed printheads.

It would be my guess that his answer did not help one bit did it? It sounds like an adjustment is needed here.   Unlike, most other Okidata printers the sdjustment is made not with the printhead but with the carraige rail that the printhead rides on.  This is made by loosening the screw to the at each end of the rail in tyhe black plastic piece thatslides through the side wall. then turning the plastic piece in either direction slightly and tightening the screw again.  You might need to do this a few times to get it right.

Well, I had that problem once. What I did was that I used the printers cleaning tools. You can acces them by entering Printers in the ControlPanel. Then right click on your printer and select Settings. Look through there. Worked for me.

Pacemark 3410 - printer shuts off after 30 seconds

Good chance the power supply is burned out. Located in the rear bottom of unit. You must remove the whole machine from case to get to it. Costs about $200.00 at any shop.

I have an Okidata Pacemark 3410 and the alarm light is blinking and will not print. i turn on and off and the alarm light just comes back on.

Normal 0 This doesn’t help fix all printers because each situation is different and in most cases we don’t have enough information to determine the fix. So hope this will provide some help.

Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

OKI Pacemark 4410 doesn't print it correct spots for some forms

I found the service manual for this, which should come in really handy for you when performing maintenance on your printer (which is most likely what you need to do to the printer) http://www.feedroller.com/Store/Service%20Manual/SER4410.PDF Funny thing is that there are a lot of people trying to sell these manuals, so I'd save this one for future use (it might not be on this link for long)
