Shrinking screen We have been having problems with the screen shrinking from top to bottom on our projection tv. It sometimes corrects itself after being on for a while, but also goes back to smaller screen at times. What could be wrong. We had cable company come out, but they found nothing wrong with hookup. Please help.

The tv is having a vertical problem have a tech look at it for possible repair.the problem is intermittent therefore it could be that it has cold solder or the vertical ic needs to be replaced along with spme caps that are not filtering the voltage properly, good luck.

60" Projection - Screen shrinks down then back up

I had the exact same problem. The screen would shrink then expand. After thrity minutes it would correct itself. Then one day it just broke - no sound and no video. I searched these forums but did not find clear instructions on how to fix it. I gave up and called in a repair tech. He fixed my TV in less than 30 minutes.  To help others like me I documented the fix and created a step by quide and repair kit to fix the problem. You can find it here. http://www.magnavoxhelp.com
