How do i find the puk code?

If you have lost your pin then you can enter the pin 3 times, util the PUK lock appears. Then you unlock the PUK calling the phone company that provided the SIM card inside your phone (eg Vodafone, Telecom, Tmobile, Orange, AT&T etc.).

Calling the phone company is the standard procedure to unlock a SIM card, however, if you do not want to call the company you can just replace the SIM card with one compatible with the phone, as PIN and PUK codes are related to SIM, and not to the phone.

The PUK code is a code associated with the SIM card and not with the phone.

You have only two ways to get rid of the PUK code. Either you replace the SIM card , or you call phone provider that issued the sim cadr (eg. At&T, Virgin, Tmobile , Vodafone, Telecom etc.)

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.eee

The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.

To unlock the Puk code you need to call the contact number for the service provider for your Sim. Alternatively you can unlock the PUK code at a local shop for a small fee, £10 or £20 in UK.

To unlock PUK, call the company that branded your Sim card.

there are no puk codes for phones, puk codes are for sim cards, the sim card will be locked and require a puk code to unlock the pin code.

your only option is to call your phone service provider, I've explained more on this page http://www.bukisa.com/articles/19406_puk-code

They will give you the puk code for your sim card.

I have just tried it with my new locked to orange g600 and it works fine on all networks.

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
if it doesn't work after step 3.. try changing the 'non-accepted' sim card that ur putting in..
eg if you are locked to vodafone and you try this method and use an orange sim card and it doesn't work, try using a o2 sim or even virgin :)

Hey, you can try this reset code on the phone.

1. remove your simcard
2 type *2767*3855# ALL DATA WILL BE LOST.

If the phone is locked with firmware then the code wont work.
