Http://imgur.com/tCCPBju i found this inside of my unit. Was playing a game and center channel went with a very loud bang followed by a electrical buzzing noise then a ton of smoke as the cooling fan pushed the smoke out of the case. Was using it on aux 1 in on emulation with a set of rca speakers i already had feom another unit as the speakers this unit came with were destroyed and very quiet and rattled. The voice coils were shot in all the speakers like it was returned to walmart after they bought a new unit to return the speakers with a good head unit..... so possed right now, this could have started a fire, there wasnt even a ground/short protection system implimented to prevent a fire from happening if this happened.

hello
the problem could either be the rubber attached to the motor of the mechanism or the mechanism itself.
if it is the rubber replace for a new one of the same size.
if it is the mechanism, check the wheels and adjust the tray if neccessary.... GOODLUCK

You need to go to the Manufacturer's website. There should be a designated area for trouble shooting, or product info. If not look for "Contact us" and go there. Write or call the number listed.
I have contacted Venturer Electronics Inc. (which have recently purchased RCA); they are in Toronto, Ontario. They suggested to perform a Manufacturer Reset (as follows); and if it works; system should power up [this means there was a glitch in the software]...(this usually happens when system is plugged into a power bar or surge protector) if not, contact them @ 1-800-721-4007. They honor the manufacturer's (RCA) 1 year warranty... with receipt.
To reset Unit:
Unplug Unit from AC power (other wires can stay connected)
Press the On/Standby button in front of Unit 15 times
Wait 30 minutes
Replug Unit to AC power
Press the On/Standby button to power up unit
Wait couple of minutes for unit to do its thing
**If unit works properly, then ensure not to plug unit into power bar or surge protector, keep plugged into wall.
**If unit will not power up properly, contact them for further instructions.
Hope this is helpful....
My Unit powered up wonderfully and is currenlty working like a charm.
Good luck!
