Question about Pride Go Go Ultra 4 Wheel Travel Scooter

Victory 4 pride mobilty scooter,the charger dont seem to charge up the batterys. is the charger faulty.

The scooter when fully charged gos realy well .tried to charge up my scooter.but the chargr wont charge up the batterys.how often do i have to charge up my scooter,ive been about ten miles on my scooter.

DID YOU HAVE THE MANUAL? YOU CAN FIND THE RIGHT WAY TO CHARGE IF IT DO NOT CHARGE AT ALL MAY BE BATTERY IS BAD OR IF IT DO NOT CHARGER NOTHING PROBABLY THE PROBLEM IS THE ADAPTER, TRY TEST IT USING VOLTMETER OR POWER TESTER.

My mobilty scooter wont charge altough it has new battery
Pride scooters often have fuses that are not shown in the manual. These may be located under the central floor mat hatch.
The charger may be faulty? It happens.
If not that, I recently purchased a faulty XLR plugged charger cable. The man who was selling them hadn't got a clue! Everything was cross-wired! That fried my floor fuse.

Is the charging circuit fuse blown? There are two hidden under the floor mat and hatch. Pride say that they don't exist, but there they are and one of mine mine was blown by a faulty XLR lead

My pride mobility victory scooter will not charge
You must charge each battery individually with an automotive NON automatic style battery charger until each battery has at least 10 bolts each. The scooter charger cannot pull up a battery with less than 10 volts.

My victory 4 mobilty wont charge the green light is very faint/the charger was tested working.so why wont my scooter charge
make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries.If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward.If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries

Battery charger for pride victory4. On first plug in power source the battery (onboard) lights up showing red then changes to green then off, and no further response.
Is there a power switch on the charger? Is charger connected to the battery? Are the batteries fully charged?

With a Pride Scooter the charger will turn green if its fully charged and if there is a bad connection in the wiring with the batteries. If you plug in the charger and the light comes on green right away then there is a problem with the wiring or connections. Take a voltmeter and read the voltage at each battery. Fully charged they should be 13-15 volts each. If they are less than 12 volts then they are not charged and the charger is not working correctly. If the batteries are really low like less than 8 volts each then the scooter might not come on at all. If you find that the batteries have at least 12 volts or more then there is a wiring problem from the rear of the scooter to the front tiller. Pride has a habit of developing problems in the harness running from the rear to the tiller. My suggestion is to contact your provider (where you got the scooter) and have them troubleshoot the scooter. If the scooter is less than a year old then it should be under warranty and your provider will have to fix it under warranty. Sorry I don't have a quick fix for you but scooters are notoriously bad to troubleshoot and repair, especially long distance. Hope this helps you

Batteries won't fully charge
mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the chargeing system has gone bad. Contact Pride online or phone.

My scooter says its fully chrged but its not. this happens once in awhile, any suggestions?
your batters have lost their charge at some point in time. These gel batteries, if they ever set for a long time with out recharging, or arn't recharged daily with daily use, will seem to be charged. but arn't. their expensive but I've seen batteries last over 5 yrs when taken care of properly.

A fully charged battery should be over 12 volts. You may need to change your batteries.
