Model si695 After replacinig the batteries for the first time all bottuns on front will not work. I cannot turn the radio at all. Very disapointed at the problem as it its the first time I changed the battery. It was done after i returend from vacation. So the radio was very dry at the time.

To turn off the second alarm on the RCA Digital PLL radio model RP3711A, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the "Alarm 2" button on the top of the radio until the display shows "OFF."
2. Release the button.
3. Press the "Alarm Set" button to confirm that Alarm 2 has been turned off. The display should no longer show the time and alarm settings for Alarm 2.

Check the battery of your remote.Try to replace new battery.If didn't work.Try to open and clean the contact of the bottun of the battery.If didn't work, its need to replace the crystal of the battery.Try this sugestion.Thanks

Be sure the batteries are inserted with the + and - facing the correct way.

Have you performed a FULL reset on the TS-2000?
To perform a full reset:

With the power off press and hold down the A=B button and with the other hand turn on the TS-2000.
After that you will have to press the A=B one more time. The radio will reset itself,
and the display will show 14.000 MHz in the main band, and 144.000 MHz in the sub band.

Are you sure the amplifiers are trashed? Have you checked the fuses? A reputable car audio shop could help for a fee of course, but it may be worth the price. It's odd that (all) the amps would malfuntion simultaniously unless someone unqualified messed with the wiring or the radio has a defective trigger wire (turns the amps on). You'll be sadly disapointed with any new radio without the factory amps, especially with the convertable ... I strongly suggest getting the amps (the factory system) working again.

Do not turn the radio on. Then depress the "mode" button and yo will see all the questions, including time, date, etc. to respond to. Either channel + or - or Tuning + or - (I don;t recall which), will get you the numbers you need, pressing "mode" again will get you to the next module or out entirely.

Do you get a power light when its plugged in? If not its likely the power adapter is bad and thats why it doesn't work on battery...never got charged.

I had exactly the same problem. Here is how I resolved it. 1. There is a reset button inside the battery compartment, in the center, between the C cells. Try pushing it with a paper clip or similar item. 2. If that doesn't work, replace the C cells. 3. If that doesn't work, try replacing the lithium backup battery. It is located between the C cells, in a compartment with an arrow. 4. I finally did all three at the same time, replacing the C cells, lithium battery, and resetting the system. The radio has worked fine for two days now. Good luck.

You can try taking the battery out and let the microprocessor discharge it charge and unlatch the switch controls function. This should take about a hour to be safe. To do this take the plug about from the wall also. The battery may be bad and need replacing. You can test the battery by putting it back in after you test the radio and clock with the a/c plug only. After the radio and clock return to normal operation. Put the battery back in and see if it work properly and all the function work. If you are still having problems replace the battery. If this does not fix the problem, you will have to call Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020. Give them the model number of you clock radio and tell them the problem you are having with the failure of the front panel buttons. They will be able to tell you if there is a fix or if you have to send it in for repair. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

hold the bottun to turn the player on and at the same time press volume up . this will reset the player ( even when it freezes)
