Question about Olympus Camedia C-350 Digital Camera

Several problems red and green light comes on when i open the cover then light goes off but the lens will not come out. if i close cover and open picture card door thengreen light comes on but lens does not come out but it does announce card cover door is open. if i want to close front cover slightly red and green light comes on then goes off. this is aftyer closing the card door cover. once i tried to do movie before all this happen but not sure how to undo whatever. this trouble i can not find in my trouble shotting section and i don't think i understand all that i read also. please help. i am trying to make money on e-bay to get money for my trip to neighbor island for major surgery. i leave may 9. so you see i don't have much time to get all the money i need. your help would truly be appreciated aloha

I am having the same problem. I think it might have to do with the memory card being corrupted. I am going to buy another one on ebay and go from there. If anyone knows what is going on with this please post it. Thanks.

I had a similar problem. I opened and closed the water tank, the top coffee bean coffee and the dreg door several times. I even 'stirred' the coffee beans a bit. Finally, after simply taking the coffee bean cover off and putting it back on, the light went to green. Even now, several months later, I sometimes have to open and close everything to make the green light come on, although it seems to be getting better with age. (like me :-))

I think it's capacitor issue on the power supply board. open it, look for power supply board and fine bloated capacitor and replace it.

When turning on there are several buzzes and the lens goes in and out then closes and screen reads "lens error!" in red

There is dirt or an obstruction in the lens telescoping mechanism or the lens cover that is preventing it from working properly.
Try clearing it with compressed air.
Otherwise, you need a professional to repair the camera. You can find a service center on the manufacturer's website.

The camera turns on and there is a green light on the camera and instantly turns red

Try to use the KODAK Lithium Digital Camera Battery CRV3 There is a red light because the camera has insufficient power and also the lens assembly might be defective try to use the battery i recommend

Hi,

Tentative solution:
I had the identical problem. I went as far as disassembling the camera ... not recommended.

Instead of fussing with the lens cover, I pressed on the lens assembly (gently), the lens retracted and the lens cover closed.

My camera works now. It will be my last Kodak.

Red and Green lights are together blinking continiously

I had this problem. The cancel button was stucked. Open the toner tray and slighly push the button side top-cover up. It released the cancel button for me (actually I was trying to open the top, but it worked). The cancel button was released and the blinking red-green stopped. Printer now working.

Hello, please help. Olympus C-560 camera, with full battery, and the zoom doesn't work when I want to take a new photo or use the videocam. Instead, itgives a strange noise and nothing can be seen in the viewer. However, the zoom works perfectly with old photos stored on the camera.
