Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
I've had the Calypso for 6 years. Always used HE detergent. Never had this problem til recently. In the last year, I can't run more than 2 loads back to back - The suds at the drain hose get to be too much & run down the wall! Mr Plumber came & cleared the line - NOTHING was found. I thought for sure a clog was forming. Thus, I think the problem is with the washer. I'm still using the same amount of HE - even trying diff. brands. Doesn't seem to matter. Suds too much. Do you think it's the pump not pumping enough water? WHY would I suddenly need to use LESS HE detergent after all these years? I'm afraid my clothes won't get clean without the proper amount. HELP!
Very much doubt problem is with washer - after all it just takes water in and turns. points the finger at the detergent or over-dosing
