I've zebronic 845 gl mother board, p4 2.4 ghz intel processor, samsung 80 gb hard disk,256mb hynix ram. when i run any program in windows xp sp2 , my system is hangged after few minutes, i press c

First you might need to have service pack 3
XP Service pack 3

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/learn-how-to-install-windows-xp-service-pack-3-sp3

a slight overhaul of your computer

second clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor specifically around your CPU central processing unit making sure there is no MOISTURE in the airline

as dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems

test or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions IDE SATA the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive make sure they have secure dust free connections
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty

then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will automatically scan for and attempt to repair bad sectors and fix any corrupt files this will schedule to happen on restart

another way of running the chkdsk utility

click start control panel administrative tools computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start should schedule this task when restart

you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage your computer your hard drive then defragment your hard drive

you have to keep a computer very clean & free of dust and give it regular maintenance

also you might download and use this registry cleaner it is 100% totally free to use

http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

and you might need to uninstall some unnecessary programs
right click in the bottom toolbar select task manager applications you will see whats running
also in processes see whats ticking over
do have any tune up programs installed on your computer

hope this helps

I am using intel 845 GVSR mother board with p4 2.4Ghz processor and 256mb of ram.. my problem is whenever am playing any high resolution video or any HD video, the monitor screen became black and after...

If you have only 256 MB of RAM with a P4 system...there is most likely your problem....

I recommend that you increase your ram to at least 1 GB -- 2 GB if you can afford it and your board will support it. You will find that your system will be much faster, more responsive, and will most likely crash a LOT less!

Yes, any motherboard that supports "larger-than-32GB" disk-drives should support larger disk-drives.

Yes, most motherboards support up to 512MB per stick of RAM.

My system is hanged after few minutes

Well the issue could either be with the bas sectors on hard disk or faulty RAM or a burned capacitor on the motherboard.

The very first thing I would suggest you is to reinstall windows operating system. If the issue persists then run the system with another RAM and observe the performance.

if the issue persists then it could be with the motherboard or the power supply. Manually check the capacitors on the board for any leaking or faulty capcitors.

Let me know if you need any further assistance

Intel 845 gvsr memory problems

Sounds like the RAM is not compatible. Try another 1 GB chip from same manufacturer & see if that helps.

Ram Support

You can add that to the motherboard. 80% chance your motherboard will support that memory. It will run at a lower speed if your motherboard can only run at a lower speed than 400Mhz
