Tip & How-To about Dogs

Features of dog toys you should look for

When buying a toy for your dog, there are different features you should look for:
Size of the toy- make sure the of the toy is designed for your dog's . Don't buy a toy too small for your dog because then it can swallow it.
Safety of the toy- dog toys have to be safe. Last thing you want is a fun experience turning into a dangerous experience. Before buying your dog a new boy, consult with the vet and read about the toy online to get more information.
Durability- Unless you're planning to switch up your dog toys every few days, you want toys that will last for a long time or at least until the dog will get bored from it.
Cleaning of the toy- some toys are easier to clean than other. For example, nylon and rubber toys are very easy to clean and can also be thrown into the dishwasher. On the other hand, stuffed animal toys don't always survive the washing machine and can get destroyed if they are made from low quality materials.

Does it matter what size toy I give to my dog?

Size is important when it comes to dog toys. Dogs need toys that are not too small (for their size) because then they can swallow it. So when picking out a toy for your dog, make sure it is big enough so it cannot get stuck in their throat.
