Overcome burn error 2130970881

I'm really p***d off keep getting the burn error 2130970881 after waiting approximately 90 mins. for my disc to burn (in realplayer), and I've got their latest update version. I don't see why this should be happening especially more than once (which is bad enough!).

It's possible you got a bad batch of discs or your drive might be going bad. Or maybe your burning software isn't very good.

Try burning the disks with Imgburn. It's FREE, works great, and you can get it here:

Front panel on machine just reads ..disc not finalised.what does this mean please?

Are the discs ones that you created (burned), someone else burned, or commercial discs? The message of disc not finalized usually appears when you put a CD or DVD from one unit into anther without closing (finalizing) the disc. The finalization step doesn't matter if the disc is being moved between computers with compatible OS versions (for example: XP through Windows 7). However, any other device will need this procedure completed.

Take the disc back to the unit (computer or other burner) where the disc was burned. If the computer uses Windows, put the disc in the optical drive. Open My Computer (Computer) depending on the OS by double left-clicking on the icon on the desktop. Right click on the optical drive and select Close Session.

If you created the CD on another machine, check the details for that device.

Note: you should double-check that the format that you burned to disc is compatible with this CD player. Not all models support MP3 files. On my own older CD player, I had to burn WAV files without gaps in a Disc At Once format to get the discs to play without skips.

I hope this helps.

(if the discs were commercial discs or have been finalized, I would expect a different error. In that case, I'd suspect a tracking problem and a "No Disc" error.)

How to fix the ERR1 in Toyota Yaris CD Player

Error #1 means unreadable disc.

This condition appears a few reasons:
- Burned disc. These players don't always like burned CD's. Try burning your discs slower (like 8x instead of 40x, yes this makes a difference) or using higher quality CD-R's. Made in Japan discs are the best (Taiyo Yuden). Yes this also makes a difference.
- Dirty or scratched disc.
- Dirty Laser. I've had really good luck with those CD cleaners. It is a CD with some small brushes on the bottom. Worth a shot.
- Deck is plain junk.

Additionally, in this lnk could find other details about fix-error-1-cd-player.html

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer ans send us your comments).

Have old Trains & trucks tycoon. Can't install on computer, it gets stuck at 5%. Comes up "Component transfer error". Component: Scenarios File Group: Scenarien File; E;\data2.cab Error; Data error...

It's a CD error. Try cleaning the CD with some alcohol and the drive with a laser head cleaning cd. If it still fails to work you could try copying the files on the disc to a folder on your PC or burning it to an iso file and mounting it iwth Daemon Tools. That may help overcome the install error but it's not a certainty.

I keep getting msg that my movie will not fit on disc.

You might have the option to burn project files to the disc turned on.
When you are on the final burn screen, look at the on the bottom left corner and you will an icon, it is a Disc with an "I" and if you have the mouse over it will say "More settings for burning. Select it and then see if you have anything checked under "files to be included on disc"
Most likely if you have a 47 min video and it saying its full this would be the issue and if you don't and all it is a 47 min video ignore the message and burn it anyways and it should work out fine.
