Power button repair, company web site??

Is there a web site I can go to for this player/company to see if I can get the power button repaired? This is our 3rd player since Christmas with the same problem. It's not pushed in or stuck, I just simply stops working. We can still activate the player through the USB port and get it to turn on that way, but can't turn it off or on regularly.

This is a Walmart proprietary item made in China. The ilo.com address above is a different company - a German medical / industrial equipment maker. Have you tried returning it to Walmart?

The heel on one of my Onex shoes split and I cannot wear these anymore. How can I get it repaired by Onex?

Hello, Georgia -

According to the History section of the Onex Shoes web site,
http://www.onexshoes.com/history/
it seems that the parent company for Onex Shoes is:
Onnik Shoe Company, Inc.
11443 Chandler Blvd
North Hollywood, CA, 91601
(Source: D&B Hoovers [a division of Dun & Bradstreet], a well-respected business intelligence company,
http://www.hoovers.com/company-information/cs/company-profile.onnik_shoe_company_inc.aafa9af7835d85c3.html# )

The only phone number I could find for the company (found on the above cited web page) is:
(818) 506-5353

I suggest you call the telephone number I found. (Call during weekday business hours, Pacific Time.) Ask to be connected with Customer Service. If there is no Customer Service department ask to speak with someone in the company about how to get your shoes repaired.

If the company does not provide any repair service for its shoes, if you have not already done so, check with a shoe repair business in your area to find out if they can repair the heel of your shoe.

Personal opinion: I find it odd that the Onex Shoes web site has no "Contact Us" link.

If you are unhappy about your Onex shoes and an inability to get the shoe heel repaired, you can post your complaints about the company on several web sites:
P*ssed Consumer (TinyURL link):
https://tinyurl.com/z4hb3x
and
Ripoff Report:
https://www.ripoffreport.com/

Plus, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for Los Angeles, California:

Some buttons don't work on the remote, some do???

The remote control might need to be repaired. They repair them at http://www.replacementremotes.com/ and they sell self repair kits at www.keypadrepair.com
There are other sites but I use those because the company I used to work for relied on them as a reputable company and I don't know about the others.

You can try a remote reset by turning off and unplugging the Allegro. Leaving it unplugged take the batteries out of its remote. Point the remote at the Allegro as if you were going to power it on. Hold down the power button for two minutes. Then press and release each button on the remote control twice. Next plug the Allegro back in and power it on from the on off button located directly on it. Then put the batteries back in the remote control and try it.

My Bose wave radio/cd player has an annoying buzzing sound. what could that be? I can't even listen to the radio or cd player

Your problem is likely a bad capacitor in the power supply. Unfortunately though, Bose does not release their parts lists or schematics, effectively creating a monopoly for parts and repairs. In fact, their web site says that the Bose factory is the only option for service or repair. They used to list a flat rate repair charge on the web site, but removed it - probably because it scared too many people. Their troubleshooting guide (below) might help, but it's very simplistic.

Before you invest in expensive factory repair on one of these trouble prone sets, you might want to investigate the new HD radios -- better sound at a MUCH lower price.

Repair Sony DAT Walkman?

The "solution" by techman appears to be entirely inappropriate because the link he posts takes one to a company that repairs data storage units, NOT Digital Audio Tape (DAT) recorders.
