Could you pls post an image/picture of the defective part (right crib lock)?

They have gone out of business,and as far as I can tell, it's because they were having too many issues with damaged cribs etc.

if I remember correctly the recall affects all cribs that have a side drop. here is the recall link if your crib can slide down on the side than yes it's being recall.

I have model # 74-3151 and I need to take it down to give to my sister, my son has out grown it and I don't know how to.
GENERATION 2 IS OUT OF BUSINESS AND YOUR CRIB IS RECALLED.
Take it to Walmart for a full refund of the original retail price and buy a new one!
No receipt required.

yes ALL generation2 worldwide drop side cribs have been recalled including model number 64-311x see this alert from cpsp

it says to call retailer directly for refund, replacement or store credit. But these stores are not familiar and will attempt to refer you to the manufacturer. But they went under in 2005. So be persistent. Speak with management if necessary. I went through my local walmart and got a $159.96 CASH refund.
