SOURCE: Lexmark c530dn red light on

Operator panel display blank, five beeps, and LED off
Service tip: The printer has detected a problem with the system card, the operator panel assembly cable (part of
the top cover access assembly), or the operator panel assembly if POST does not complete. The printer emits
five beeps, and sticks in a continuous pattern until the printer is turned off.
Is this what you are getting?

SOURCE: My Lexmark P4350 printer is not scanning images to my computer?

To scan a document, please follow the steps given below:

To see how an image will look after it is scanned, click "Preview Now."
2. Click "Scan," "Send scanned image to."
If scanning an image, choose a graphics program such as "Lexmark Photo Editor," "MS Paint," etc.
If you wish to "Scan to OCR," choose a text program such as "MS Word," "WordPad," etc.
Once the image is scanned, the "Abbyy OCR" software will open automatically.
3. To begin the scanning process, click "Scan Now."
4. To view the additional options, click "See More Scan Settings."
To indicate what type of image is being scanned, select the "Option" next to the type of object you are scanning. Your settings will be optimized for that object type.
To indicate how the scan will be used, select the relevant option from the menu. Your resolution and other settings will be optimized based on your selection.
5. To revert back to the normal All-in-One main page, click "Hide Extra Scan Settings."
6. Under "Display Advanced Scan Settings"; you can see change settings, which will affect the outcome of your scan.

I installed new cartridges (Lexmark brank both black and color) and my printer won't work now.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

Reconnect the power cord directly to the power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge devices or power outlets.4. Re-plug the power adapter into the printer.5. If the printer won't automatically power on, press the power button on the printer operator panel.

I cannot get my Lexmark 5600-6500 to turn on

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer.
printmastert_60.jpg

Then unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Wait at least 10 seconds before re-plugging the power cord into the power outlet in the wall (bypass any power strip) and the power adapter into the printer. This will give enough time for the printer to reset itself. If printer won't automatically turn on, press the power button. If that doesn't help, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

My printer does not turn on?iam pushing the on button.

Unplug the power supply from the printer. The power supply is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. With the other end of the power cord still plugged in to the power outlet, the power supply of your Lexmark X5650 should have a green light on around the silver contacts. If not, you might have a defective power supply. If that's the case, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for the power supply request. If there is, plug it back in the printer all the way through and in a correct position. Printer should power on automatically, otherwise, press the power button. If printer is still not powering on, it might be defective now. Contact Lexmark Technical Support for further troubleshooting.

Lexmark 6675. Power won't come on. Power cord

Hi,
your power supply (black box) is working fine if it has green indicator light on. Make sure you're plugging the power supply all the way in the slot. The power supply can be plugged in an incorrect position so try to double-check that you are plugging it in correctly. Hope this helps.
