I need a device code for a Hisense tv

I have a Hisense LCDTV and I am trying to program the remote for my Verizon cable box to operate both the tv and the cable box. Is there a code for the tv that I can use?

Not likely as Hisense is a company who uses odd remote codes---set made in China and has gone out of business at least two times.

The codes for the 32' Protron are 1004 or 1011. However be aware that this may disable your defaults permanently. When we had the cable installed they changed the codes but on doing so, the TV was useless. On power up the led will go from red to green, then go back to red instead of giving a source option. Customer service is agravating and useless; this is Chinese company that is using the name ProtRon to ride on the better make of Proton. We bought it through ShopNBC, definitely a big mistake since they are of no help either. We have taken the TV to a repair shop; they say its a main board but they are having extreme difficulty getting help from Protron; only delays and excuses. There are more issues riding on all this that has prompted my wife and I to seek a class action.

Hisense tv code needed

Even though this problem is a year old, I thought that I would share my solution for Remote codes for a Verizon FIOS.
I tried asking Verizon, and Hisense for a code that would work as the published codes did not work to program my Verizon remote. No answer from either.
I accidently discovered that the codes listed for LG worked, in fact the first code listed worked. I surmise that Hisense uses the same codes as LG.

If you are at wit's end then try the LG codes.

By the way. I tried stepping through all codes several times but no success with the Verizon instructions. The fact that the LG codes worked, indicates that the Verizon solution is wrong.

Since the Funai code does not work, you have to use the CODE SEARCH feature.

The remote may already be set up to operate your brand of TV, VCR, Laserdisc, Satellite Receiver, Audio Equipment, or Cable Box. It is pre-programmed with the following codes: TV-000, VCR1-000, AUDIO-003, and SAT•Cable Box-000. For brands that require programming, there are two ways to program: Using Code Lists or Code Search.
