New to the MP3 Player-
Just got the Sansa E250, signed up for the rhapsody to go membership
It will not let me transfer songs without paying for them.
The E250 Device icon will only show up (in microsoft windows and rhapsody device section) in one usb mode (not the one it tells you to be in, in the help section)
Purchased a song and showed up on player, but when I tried to play it told me "not synchronized.
Basically, this is 4 days out of box and I cant get anything to work.
Also, when in windows and open icon up, only shows empty folders and one song I purhcased.
Would you please help me set-up my player!!
Thanks in advance
1. Computer and Rhapsody will only recognize my player in MSC mode as a removable device. 2. When transf. a subscription song, I get an unsupported device error 3. I can not authorize my E250 4. I purchased a song to see if it would transfer. It did but wont play. I get a "synchronize" error.
So far I have formatted my sansa (its blank now), I have tried to update the firmware (I have .01.02.15A), I can download the update, but when I plug in my sansa it doesnt update...this might have to do with #1?
I have cleared all cache files...
If anybody can help with 1 or all I would greatly appreciate it. I have researched this thing to death and cant find anything that would work.So here are my main problems...

I've just got a new sansae250, i can't see video media, because i can't converse it.i don't know why?i install softwares, but it appear a report that it;s not finished, now,my computer use window media 9,may i use win nap to use for it? please help me,
Download the latest firmware from 7/?/2002 I had this problem too and tried all kinds suggested solutions. The main problem was that no computer would recognize the e250 in MTP mode--which is what you need to transfer songs with DRMs from Rhapsody or similar services. The latest firmware fixed the problem. I gave up on the whole thing about about a year ago. What a waste of precious time that could have been spent in nerdy musical bliss.

This player IS DRM-Compatible, but DRM-protected files almost invariably cause problems at some point. Unplug the Sansa, Uninstall all the Sansa software, and reinstall the software. Replug the Sansa. See if Rhapsody will now recognize it. Try synchronizing.
There is a workaround, but it is illegal - you can get a DRM stripper, and then just use Windows Media Player to transfer the now-DRM-free songs.
So did you get your answer, or do you still need a solution. Stop confusing me =P
If you still need an answer, and I think I know what your saying, then without using rhapsody you can connect to your Sansa e250 VIA "My Computer" in the "Start Menu" and click and drag music onto your Sansa e250.
You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
