No volume! no ringer!

No matter what I try to do (re-start, adjust settings and profiles)the volume on my phone has gone completely silent. Even has the 'no-volume' icon. People can hear me fine but I can't hear them.

Check the + volume switch if pressed,if not then is broken and you have to change it

Page 30 of manual at the link shown suggests a way to silence the Jitterbug.

To adjust the ringer volume:
1.
Be sure the phone is open and on.
2.
Press the
Up/Down
volume button
on the outside of the phone below the
display window. Press each time you want
to advance to the next choice.
These choices will appear on the screen:
- Ringer Volume Ring Max
- Ringer Volume High
- Ringer Volume Med
- Ringer Volume Low
- Ringer Volume Silent
3.
When you're satisfied with the setting,
release the volume button.
Your Jitterbug may ring and vibrate
to alert you to incoming calls. The
ringer and keypad can be silenced
by pressing the volume button
Down
until
"Silent"
appears on the screen. Your
Jitterbug will now only vibrate to alert you
to incoming calls (This can come in handy
at a movie, a library, or any other location
where a ringer may be a distraction.

Blu Advance 5.0 ringer sounds won't work.

Hi if u have silent mode turned on u won't hear a sample ring tone check where u adjust volumes there should b a silent mode on or off..Cheers..

Adjusting the Ringer Volume

You can choose from four ringer volume settings (off, low, medium, and high)

separately on each handset or the base.

With the phone in standby, press or on the handset or VOLUME or

VOLUME on the base. The handset or base sounds the ringer at that level.

Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make the ringer volume

louder. Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make it softer or

turn it completely off.

When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys.

The handset or base will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.

Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset or base won't ring. Other handsets or base will ring according
to their individual settings.

IPad won't ring when calling face time

either your profile is silent or your volume is down. whenever your profile is in silent mode/vibrate mode even if someone is calling you it wont ring. change that to ringer via settings and sounds.

Hi, you can try to change the profile settings of the phone, because sometimes even if the volume is full but if the profile settings is on low, the sound will still be low.

Ringer is set at max but is hard to hear

If the ringout volume is very low, then try not to select a soft, silent or low ringing tone. Try to choose a ringing tone that is loud so that you can hear your phone ringout.

The ringer will not ring, everything else is perfecty fine and working well

Your phone is set too silent. If it has buttons on the side, try pressing the up arrow button until it's loud enough for you. Alternately, go into the phone's settings and look for a "Ringer Settings", "Sounds", or "Profiles" category. You should be able to adjust the volume from there.

Got a new Blackberry Storm and my ringer won't ring

Check either your profile or under "Options" -> "Sounds and Ringer Tones" and see if your volume is set to "Silent". Change volume to something other than "Silent" and see if your ringer works then.

I have a new LG200C cell phone that has been activated with TRACFONE. Problem: when dialing the LG200C from another phone, the the ringer is completely silent, even though I have put all volume settings on...

try pressing the * key for about 2 seconds (until it vibrates or beeps) that toggles between the normal ring settings and "manner mode" which is vibrate

then check menu - settings - sounds - volume
select Master volume and make sure it is not on silent
